Summary This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security, Federal Protective Service, Springfield, Virginia. Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Program Manager for an assigned Information Technology (IT) system managed as a Capital Asset Acquisition Program and deployed for operational use within Federal Protective Service Duties performed: Identifying and defining the operational need, necessitating a Capital Asset Acquisition Program. Communicate operational, budgetary, and schedule needs to the Acquisition Program Management Office (PMO) to support the establishment and resourcing of the Capital Asset Acquisition Program. Oversees design and development activities, which subsequently informs his/her planning for logistics lifecycle support following deployment of an IT system.
