Overview
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager – Technology Projects to lead high-impact, technology-driven initiatives across fleet operations.
This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation, managing cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring seamless adoption of technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, compliance of the fleet, and crew effectiveness.
You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple technology programs—from strategy and planning to execution, ROI tracking, and continuous improvement.
What Will You Do?
Plan, execute, and deliver technology programs including software implementations, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives for fleet operations.
Ensure technology solutions directly enhance vessel performance, crew productivity, safety, and regulatory compliance.
Partner closely with Technical, Marine, Procurement, and QHSE teams to align technology initiatives with operational priorities.
Track, measure, and report project ROI, performance metrics, and adoption outcomes.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and delivery quality to ensure timelines, budgets, and expectations are met.
Lead integration of new technologies with existing maritime and enterprise systems.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation—requirements, specifications, SOPs, and user guides.
Drive process optimization, automation, and data-driven decision-making through technology.
Stay current with maritime technology trends and regulatory developments to future-proof digital initiatives.
Lead and mentor project teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
The Must-Haves
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering.
MBA preferred (Tier-1 institute only).
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum are highly advantageous.
Experience
10+ years of Program or Project Management experience.
Minimum 3 years leading technology projects within the maritime industry.
Strong familiarity with maritime systems such as PMS, Noon Reporting, CII, QHSE, and related platforms.
Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs delivered on time and within budget.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to operate under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
