Program Overview for Energy The objective of the WRI India energy program is to inform and guide India’s transition to cleaner energy through strong research, ground-level implementation experience, partnerships with key stakeholders and communicating our work. The 5 pillars of the energy program focus on increasing clean energy demand, increasing clean energy supply, supporting sub-national energy transitions, raising the issues of materials and circularity for the energy transition and ensuring equitable development through energy transitions.
Job Highlight:
WRI India's energy program aims to inform and guide India's energy transition. The program's strategy is comprises of four pillars: (1) Clean Energy Supply (2) Decarbonized Energy Consumption, (3) Energy for Equitable Development and (4) Energy, Minerals & Circularity. Cross cutting these pillars are issues of financing and policies and integrating the principles of equity in the program's initiatives. The Decarbonized Energy Consumption (DEC) pillar is focused on reducing energy demand through energy efficiency, promoting the integration of clean energy and use of alternative fuels in the buildings and industries sector and sustainable cooling.The DEC pillar is looking for someone to provide project management and delivery support on projects related to sustainable cooling and building decarbonisation. The ideal candidate must be willing to work under tight timelines and ensure high quality deliverables.The successful candidate will work with a multidisciplinary team and report to the Program Head.What will you do:
