PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and coordinate the activities of staff including training, employee development, performance evaluation, hiring decisions, and the establishment of goals and performance objectives for assigned department. Provide continual evaluation of department processes, methods, and activities to assure the most effective use of resources and equipment. Manage budget and expenditures. Ensure that all departments are aware of their contractual responsibilities and customer expectations are satisfied. Interface with managers and responsible salespersons to establish relative project priorities for the organization. Provide support to marketing/sales for new proposal preparation in anticipation of new contracts. Assure critical tasks are on target and communicate problem areas to management.
