Program Manager

Join AG Solution Group to lead high‑impact Industry 4.0 programs for global manufacturing leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the full Life Cycle Management (LCM) program, including automation upgrades, obsolescence management, and OT/IT lifecycle planning.
  • Define long‑term roadmaps, transition strategies, and investment planning together with the client.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across engineering, operations, IT, OT, architecture, cyber security and business units.
  • Manage risks, dependencies, and prioritisation across all LCM workstreams.
  • Ensure structured governance with SteerCo, recurring alignment meetings, progress reporting, and roadmap updates.
  • Align priorities and secure buy‑in in complex political landscapes.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear business decisions for senior leaders.
  • Track budgets, resource planning, capacity, and program forecasts at multi‑stream level.
  • Escalate proactively when needed and drive issue resolution.
  • Manage or oversee automation projects (PLC/SCADA/DCS migrations).
  • Lead digital transformation projects for other AGS clients, including MES/MOM, data platforms, IIoT, connectivity and cyber security.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communicator who can influence without authority and align diverse teams.
  • Politically intelligent and comfortable navigating complex stakeholder dynamics.
  • Strong technical literacy in automation, IIoT, architectures, MES/MOM, data platforms and OT/IT.
  • Strategic vision with willingness to be hands‑on when needed.
  • Proactive, structured, reliable and focused on delivering outcomes.
Preferred Experience
  • 5–10 years of program or project leadership in automation, digitalisation or Industry 4.0.
  • Strong technical affinity or background in automation systems (PLC, SCADA, DCS, …).
  • Experience leading multi‑stream programs within a manufacturing, automation or OT/IT context.
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders and managing politically sensitive situations.
  • Ability to interpret system architectures and understand technical constraints.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, automation, IT or similar.
  • EU citizenship or long‑term EU work permit.
  • Based in Spain, preferably around Madrid.
