Job Description
DevelopmentWA is a State Government agency creating exceptional places for Western Australians, collaborating closely with communities, government, and industry.
We plan and deliver land and property development, taking projects from conception to completion.
Driven by a future-focused approach, we deliver sustainable outcomes that enhance the environment and well-being of our communities.
Because we act on behalf of the State Government, we’re in it for the long-haul, able to invest in complex, long-term and strategic projects the private sector may be unwilling or unable to take on like town centres, tourism precincts and industry hubs. Think Australian Marine Complex, Elizabeth Quay or Karratha revitalisation.
Leveraging our extensive land portfolio exceeding 23,000 hectares (more than 700 Optus Stadiums) across metropolitan, regional, and industrial sectors, we play an important role in driving Western Australia's growth.
With a strong commercial mindset balanced by a social conscience, we're committed to developing exceptional residential, commercial, and industrial spaces across metropolitan and regional WA.
We deliver new homes (including social and affordable homes), business opportunities to help provide jobs and build the economy, vibrant community spaces, and exciting destinations to enjoy.
