Purpose:
The Program Specialist will report to the Associate Director of the Texas A&M Engineering Academies and support recruitment efforts primarily for the Engineering Academies.
Responsibilities:
Increase visibility and promote the Engineering Academy by:Establishing and sustaining working relationships with high school educators and counselors. Collaborating with community and educational organizations. Planning and executing information sessions for prospective students and families. Representing the Academy program at our partner community college recruitment events.Provide guidance on the Engineering Academy admission process and address general prospective student and family questions.Provide input to Engineering Academy leadership evaluating the Academy application process and the effectiveness of recruitment strategies.Provide academic advice to current students enrolled in the...
