The primary purpose of this position is: To function as the Force Support Squadron (FSS) Program Support Specialist ensuring all aspects of Force Support Readiness, Contingency Operations, Honor Guard, and Mortuary Affairs meet Air Force requirements. Responsibilities Provides technical guidance and recommendations to squadron leadership regarding the unit readiness program. Installation Honor Guard Program Management. Manages the installation Honor Guard program to provide for the rending of ceremonial honors and military funerals for authorized recipients in accordance with published guidance and Higher Headquarters directives. Represent the Force Support Squadron with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Plans, organizes, and directs Force Support Search and Recovery and Mortuary Affairs programs.
