Job Description
The role of the Programme Manager is to initiate projects in this area and, if successful, build the portfolio towards a new Interdisciplinary Research Programme in tidal and other ocean energy resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in or lead research and development, demonstration, and deployment projects of innovative energy solutions, that entail research in energy systems and alternative energy sources.
Support joint research and development agreements such as Joint Industry Program, Research Collaboration Agreements with Industry or University partners and related programs.
Manage projects in the group and be the Principal Investigator (PI) of selected research projects to ensure projects are executed to meet the scientific / technical targets.
