Programme Officer

The Programme Officer position, as part of the WV Emergency programmes function, provides technical support in order to ensure that WV adheres humanitarian standards on quality and accountability. Programmes support shall cover needs and context assessment, designing and proposal development, planning, monitoring/reporting, including gathering of feedback from response participants, and analysis of response information to improve quality of response programming and activities. This position works collaboratively with other units in the Response.

Major Responsibilities

• Assessment and Context monitoring: Supports MEAL Officer in facilitating assessment processes and on‑going needs assessment of the affected population in the response areas.
