Job Description
Science Systems and Applications, Inc (SSAI) seeks a Programmer Analyst II to support an Earth Science contract at NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. The candidate will provide web development and programming support to PACE.
Duties include but are not limited to:
+ Help define software requirements for federal data archives (e.g., NSIDC) to support scientific metadata and search systems.
+ Provide scientific and data management support, including temporary hosting for field campaign and validation teams.
+ Assist science teams with finalizing and archiving their data sets.
Required Qualifications
+ Master’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, physics, atmospheric science or related field and 5+ years’ experience programming. Or, the equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Django) to design and maintain func...
