A project administrator is usually next in the chain of command behind the project manager. Project coordinator duties are therefore about supporting the project manager in managing projects. Project coordinators need to excel in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. There is always something that needs attention, more often many things, so the ideal project coordinator must be comfortable in a stressful atmosphere.


Responsibilities



  • DESIGNING AND CONTROLLING THE PROJECT SCHEDULE :

  • Break projects into doable tasks and set timeframes and goals reflected on Gantt chart schedule.

  • Ensuring deadlines are met.

  • Monitor project progress and address potential issues

  • Measure and report on project performance
