Based in Malaga, our client is a well-established and highly regarded manufacturing business supplying specialist products to a wide range of residential and commercial projects. Due to an internal promotion, they are now seeking an experienced Project Administrator / Contracts Administrator to join their team.

Project / Contracts Administrator
Malaga location
Monday to Friday, full-time hours $85,000 - $95,000 + super (depending on experience)

The Role: Working within the construction team, you will support the delivery of multiple projects and report to the Construction Manager. Key duties will include:
- Coordinating project documentation including drawings, schedules, variations and progress claims
- Assisting with contract administration, invoicing and financial reporting
- Supporting Project Managers with budgets, forecasting and project tracking
- Liaising with production and logistics teams to ensure materials and deliveries align with site schedules
- Coordinating subcontractors, labour, suppliers and plant hire
- Tracking project milestones, deadlines and completion dates
- Maintaining safety, quality and compliance documentation (SWMS, inductions, QA, OHSE)
- Monitoring progress and reporting on project performance
- Managing variations and ensuring approvals are in place
- General project administration and office support as required by the Construction Manager
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- Proven experience in a contracts or project administration role within the Australian construction industry
- A strong understanding of the full contract lifecycle, from project start through to completion
- A qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering (highly regarded but not essential)
- Sound knowledge of HSE requirements
- The ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
- A well organised, reliable and detail-focused approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work well in a team
- Competency with Microsoft Office, MS Project and ERP systems (experience with Pronto highly advantageous)
- Full Australian working rights
- A valid Australian driver’s licence
- The ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test
