We are seeking Analysts to join our Singapore team. At IPA, you will work directly with clients to improve their performance by making clear, logical, and convincing cases for change. Analysts engage with key project and project system stakeholders, collect and analyse data, and deliver reports and presentations. The candidate’s interest in studying factors that drive success in complex, technologically advanced projects across different industries and countries is critical.

Key Responsibilities
- Interfacing directly with clients to collect project technical data and uncover areas of risk
- Applying statistical analysis to quantify your findings
- Writing reports to provide insight and recommendations for clients
- Delivering verbal feedback and presentations to technical and business audiences
- Working collaboratively with capital project teams and project organizations to improve business competitiveness
- Conducting research on the drivers of project success and failure using statistics and IPA’s proprietary database
Skills and Qualities
Project Analysts must have:
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- High level of interest in capital (engineering and construction) projects and project systems
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, to be able to build and maintain relationships with senior leaders in client organizations
- Strong work ethic
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently
- Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and a willingness to work in a team
- Flexibility in taking on a variety of assignments and willing to step out of their comfort zone
Travel Requirements
This position involves up to 20% travel to client locations, primarily within the Asia Pacific region
Education and Experience
In terms of education and experience, we prefer:
- A Master’s degree, in project management, engineering, physical sciences, business, economics, mathematics, or allied fields
- Knowledge of statistical analyses such as hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, linear and logistic regression is advantageous
- Minimum 5 or more years of experience in a relevant position (e.g., analyst, scientist, consultant, project manager, engineer)
- Subsurface, including geology, geophysics, reservoir engineering, production operations or drilling and completion functions of the industry; or experience in E&P facilities engineering
