Project Architect

A vibrant, Michigan engineering firm is seeking a Project Architect for their Midland area office! Responsibilities: Consult with client to determine requirements for new structures or renovation Coordinate/attend meetings with clients, consultants, planning officials, building officials and/or health/safety/law officials Prepare contract documents Conduct periodic on-site observation to monitor compliance with plans Produce high quality work Ensure all work is reviewed by a registered architect Manage multiple projects simultaneously Collaborate with team members at all levels of design phases Attend client meetings, possibly face-to-face Travel to clients and construction sites Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Architecture 5+ years of experience in related experience in commercial, medical and/or institutional projects Architecture License preferred Knowledge of contract administration/office procedures Knowledge of basic building systems (architectural, mechanical, plumbing, electr...
