Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Manager - Project Governance, located in Pune. The primary responsibilities include overseeing project management and governance frameworks to ensure successful project execution. The role entails managing project timelines, identifying risks, and providing solutions to mitigate them. Key tasks include coordinating inspections, supervising expediting operations, and facilitating logistics management across all stages of the project lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement project governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations, client requirements, and Microsoft Dynamics best practices.
  • Oversee project portfolios, including risk assessment, resource allocation, and performance tracking to optimize delivery outcomes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including PMOs, developers, consultants, and stakeholders) to define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify governance gaps, recommend improvements, and ensure adherence to quality assurance processes.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communications, including reporting on project status, KPIs, and governance metrics to senior leadership.
  • Mentor and guide project teams on governance principles, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Drive process improvements using tools like Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms to enhance efficiency in Dynamics implementations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party integrations to support seamless project execution.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Expediting and Expeditor-related activities for smooth project operations
  • Strong expertise in Project Management and leadership skills to coordinate resources and achieve project goals
  • Experience with Inspection processes to ensure quality compliance for project deliverables
  • Knowledge and capability in Logistics Management to efficiently manage the movement of resources
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline
  • PMP or other project management certifications are an advantage
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and related technologies;
    Microsoft certifications (e.G., PMP, Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant) are a plus.
