Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the full scope of project control functions including planning, cost control, risk management, change management, and reporting
  • Ensure alignment with company standards, procedures, and objectives
  • Manage development of project schedules and cost forecasts
  • Oversee cost control systems, budget performance, and variance analysis.
  •  Quantities and smooth cash flow management
  • Prepare and review contractual and commercial deliverables including tender documentation
  • Supervise multidisciplinary and multicultural project control teams
  • Provide direction to planners and Cost controllers in developing, setting up, monitoring and controlling of project schedules, plan costs. 
  • Preparation and update of Project Controls sections of the Project Execution Plan, including WBS, CBS, Progress measurement procedure and Reporting procedure
  • Ensure integration between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning planning
  • Deliver regular project control reports to senior management with high accuracy and clarity

    • Requirements:

  • Degree in an engineering or relevant discipline
  • Twenty (20) years of experience in planning, progress measurement, cost control, change management and document control on all project phases from front end design through to construction completion which should have been gained in the refinery, petrochemicals or oil and gas industries
  • Significant experience and capability in management of contracts, budgeting, controlling costs, planning, scheduling, and management of change.
     Knowledgeable across engineering, procurement, and constructions execution - Understands the use and applications of Project Controls department tools and systems.
  • Good mentoring skills teaches, coaches, and mentors to help assure individual and team success as well as develop the next generation.
  • Software proficiency: Primavera P6 Module, SAP etc
