Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate the full scope of project control functions including planning, cost control, risk management, change management, and reportingEnsure alignment with company standards, procedures, and objectivesManage development of project schedules and cost forecastsOversee cost control systems, budget performance, and variance analysis. Quantities and smooth cash flow managementPrepare and review contractual and commercial deliverables including tender documentationSupervise multidisciplinary and multicultural project control teamsProvide direction to planners and Cost controllers in developing, setting up, monitoring and controlling of project schedules, plan costs. Preparation and update of Project Controls sections of the Project Execution Plan, including WBS, CBS, Progress measurement procedure and Reporting procedureEnsure integration between engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning planningDeliver regular project control reports to senior management with high accuracy and clarityRequirements:
Degree in an engineering or relevant disciplineTwenty (20) years of experience in planning, progress measurement, cost control, change management and document control on all project phases from front end design through to construction completion which should have been gained in the refinery, petrochemicals or oil and gas industriesSignificant experience and capability in management of contracts, budgeting, controlling costs, planning, scheduling, and management of change.
Knowledgeable across engineering, procurement, and constructions execution - Understands the use and applications of Project Controls department tools and systems.Good mentoring skills teaches, coaches, and mentors to help assure individual and team success as well as develop the next generation.Software proficiency: Primavera P6 Module, SAP etc
