PM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm. With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-disciplined team of over 3,700 people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors. 

Due to our on-going success securing large-scale projects we have a requirement for a Project Controller  join our Project Services, Bangalore. 


Responsibilities

  • Ensuring group standards for setup of projects are maintained & the development of these standards.
  • Ensuring that databases are maintained in accordance with PM Group policies and procedures
  • Ensuring that P6 Enterprise structure follows Group procedures
  • Ensuring the User Access rights are in accordance with Group procedures
  • Development of Group procedures, processes and standards to support the new and evolving integrated workflows and technologies.
  • Setting up new users.
  • Acting as initiation point for new licences
  • Co-ordination with the Digital Project Delivery Applications Manager regarding approach and strategy to licence procurement
  • Acting as first point of contact for all user technical queries / assistance
  • Act as the primary point of contact with PM Group Oracle partner (for P6)
  • Develop training materials
  • Mentor / train / rollout support of project controls applications across our office network
  • Work with the Business owners to establish a common data structure across Planning and Cost
  • Provide planning/scheduling support for projects when required 
  • .


    Qualifications

  • A primary degree in an Engineering or Computer Science related discipline
  • Demonstrated capability, expertise and experience in the management and administration of engineering software applications, ideally including planning & scheduling and cost management packages 
  • Demonstrated capability, expertise and experience in data analytics in a planning and scheduling context – have the ability to analyze schedules across multiple projects and to recognise, identify and collect valuable data and to use this for improved forecasting.
  • Full competency in the use of Primavera P6 – particularly in the set-up and maintenance of P6 structures and ideally with at least 5 year’s experience as a planner/scheduler in an EPCM environment
  • Demonstrated capability, expertise and experience in SQL database management and administration.
