Job Description
Our client is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to support Landfill Gas to Energy (LFGTE) projects across the U.S. The Analyst will oversee purchase orders, requisitions, goods receipt, and spend forecasting at both project and program levels. This role ensures cost control, financial transparency, and timely procurement, while working closely with Engineers, Site Managers, contractors, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage purchase orders and requisitions for equipment, materials, and services.
Verify receipt of goods/services and reconcile deliveries with invoices.
Maintain project-level spend forecasts; track expenditures and analyze variances.
Consolidate forecasts across multiple projects to create program-level spend reports.
Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure procurement alignment.
Prepare and distribute financial and procurement reports, including KPIs.
Maintain accurate procurement and forecasting data in project management/ERP tools.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
Experience: 2–5 years in project controls, procurement, financial analysis, or cost forecasting (energy, construction, or environmental industries preferred).
Skills: Proficiency with Excel, project management or financial tracking tools; strong analytical and organizational abilities; excellent communication skills.
Preferred: Familiarity with renewable energy projects, environmental credits (RINs, LCFS), or supply chain/project controls certifications (CAPM, CCP, CPIM).
Travel: Occasional travel (0–10%) to project sites for procurement verification.
