Job description
Providing management of reporting, scheduling, and risk team consisting of project controls specialists, planning and scheduling engineers, and document controllersProviding an oversight for development, review and monitoring of project schedules, and the master program schedule incorporating the individual package schedulesDeveloping and managing project reporting formats and proceduresDeveloping and managing the system, structure and tools for document management systemsProviding recommendations to manage project risks and improve the financial performance of the projectSupporting the project team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systemsInterfacing with the Clients as needed, attending regular meetings, and providing statistical reportsProviding guidance and specialized assistance for issues related to project controls and timeCoordinate the preparation and maintenance of budgets and cost estimatesLeading the development and maintenance of WBS and development of schedules and budget data for WBS elementsDeveloping and maintaining status reports including schedule status, financial analysis, cost performance and earned value reportsGenerating critical milestones for the construction stage through detailed discussions with the Project Manager, and other discipline leads. 18 years of metro construction project experience.Bachelors Degree in Project Management, Construction or Civil Engineering Recent success in a leadership or managerial role responsible for developing or managing cost schedules and project controls Strong track record in planning and scheduling in the design and construction large scale civil engineering projectsFully competent with Primavera (P6) planning, scheduling and project control systemsKnowledge of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Project scheduling softwareExperience on design and construction of large scale infrastructure programsExcellent English written and oral communication skills to communicate with the client as well as technical and non-technical team membersAbility to communicate clearly to conduct presentations to management and interface effectively with a diverse group of professionalsPosition location
