Job Description
Project Coordinator I is an entry-level project management position with a wide variety of responsibilities that support our construction leaders to get our customers’ projects completed safely and at the highest quality. Project Coordinators serve as the face of our company through regular interactions with customers, local utilities, vendors, and construction crews.
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US and will not require current or future sponsorship.
This is a contract-to-direct hiring process.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and manage customer phone calls regarding comments, issues, and complaints.
- Coordinate activities to resolve customer complaints and issues.
- Gather and record potential and existing field changes to customer.
- Provide daily and weekly production data reports.
- Scheduling in Microsoft Projects or comparable scheduling software.
- Attend customer weekly progress meetings.
- Provide a summary log of all RFIs and change orders weekly.
- Relay measurement data to field foreman and management staff.
- Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership.
Education, Skills, Experience Needed:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in project management or underground utilities is highly desired.
- Proven written and verbal communication abilities.
- Technical savvy to quickly learn new systems.
- Understand basic accounting principles (e.g., journal entries, general ledger).
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Good work ethic and interpersonal skills.
