Overview
SGS are currently looking for a Project Coordinator / Project Manager with experience in shipbuilding for a 18 months project in Helsinki to start shortly:
Construction of the vessel hull and machinery spaces is occurring in Finland and Northern Europe, with final assembly and commissioning taking place in Canada. SGS is being engaged to support their Client's quality oversight activities across multiple sub-subcontracted block-fabrication yards and possibly support surveillance & acceptance testing activities at equipment suppliers/OEMs as required.
Your Responsibilities Are To
Serve as Client's day-to-day point of contact.
Integrate into Client's Helsinki shipyard based quality and construction team.
Coordinate SGS inspectors across all assigned European yards and facilities.
Develop and maintain inspection schedules, resource plans, and reporting structure.
