Job Description Job Description The Project Coordinator keeps engineering projects organized, on-schedule, and on-budget. You’ll support Project Managers with scheduling, document control, permitting logistics, subconsultant/vendor coordination, and client communications—freeing technical staff to focus on design and fieldwork. Project Scheduling & Logistics Assist in building and maintain task-level schedules (milestones, dependencies, critical path). Coordinate and maintain resource management data. Scope, Budget, and Change Control Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), track burn rates, and update ETC/EAC with PMs. Prepare and route change orders (scope/time/fee), contract mods, and addenda; maintain version control. Document Control & QA Manage submittals, RFIs, transmittals, and drawing issue logs. Enforce naming conventions and checklists; assemble deliverable packages and QC record sheets.
