Job Description – Project Coordinator
Job Overview
The Project Coordinator will support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities to ensure timely and efficient project execution. The role involves close coordination with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and project requirements under Singapore construction/site standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor overall project progress, schedules, and timelines.
Assist the Project Manager in site coordination and day-to-day project operations.
Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Prepare, submit, and follow up on project documentation, reports, drawings, and approvals.
Track materials, manpower deployment, work progress, and site activities.
Attend site meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
Support planning, scheduling, and reporting activities to ensure smooth project flow.
Ensure projects comply with safety regulations, quality standards, and company procedures.
Maintain proper records, logs, and project files for audit and reference purposes.
Essential Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Relevant experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role (construction or site-based projects preferred).
Familiarity with Singapore construction practices, site workflows, and coordination procedures.
Skills & Competencies
Strong coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and manage multiple project activities simultaneously.
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Good documentation, reporting, and follow-up skills.
Strong attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
