Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Build comprehensive cost estimates (materials, labour, subcontracting, logistics, testing, taxes, contingencies)
  • Analyse and validate supplier quotations; ensure cost breakdown transparency and alignment with scope/specs.
  • Maintain cost libraries, benchmarking data and price books; drive continuous improvement
  • Prepare RFQs, bid tabulations/comparison sheets, negotiation support packs and margin assessments
  • Calculate and monitor SPI and CPI; analyse variances and trend impacts on schedule and cost
  • Produce weekly/monthly dashboards and management summaries with root-cause insight and recovery actions
  • Track actual utilisation vs plan; highlight over/under-allocation and propose balancing actions
  • Liaise with Engineering, Procurement, Presales, Finance and project Delivery to synchronise data
