Project Cost Estimation and Controls Engineer

Your role

Our major Oil & Gas Downstream Client is urgently looking for Project Cost Estimation and Controls Engineer who will develop and maintain accurate and detailed cost estimates (CAPEX and OPEX) for major projects and portfolio projects at all project stages — from feasibility, concept, and FEED through to execution and close-out. You will work with project teams, discipline engineers, procurement, and contractors to collect data, validate assumptions, and integrate technical and commercial inputs into estimates.

• Build and maintain cost models, databases, benchmarks, and norms specific to major and portfolio projects to enhance estimation accuracy and competitiveness
• Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring alignment with approved funding, project scope, and execution plans
• Develop Estimate Plan detailing how the estimate will be developed
• Develop Estimate Basis to document how estimate was derived
