About the opportunity

As ourProject Engineer you will manage the procurement and delivery of field
investigation packages across Inland Rail’s Northern NSW program. This role
oversees geotechnical, environmental, heritage, and utility surveys,
coordinating technical, commercial, and logistical aspects to ensure alignment
with project timelines, budgets, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Key
responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Manage delivery of fieldwork packages, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, environmental approvals, safety and quality standards.
  • Supervise contractors and consultants during fieldwork execution, ensuring adherence to project schedules, budgets, and management plans.
  • Prepare Scopes of Work for field investigation contracts, coordinating with internal subject matter experts to gather and clarify requirements.
