About the role

Matic Engineering & Process Pte Ltd, a leading construction company in the North Region, is seeking a talented Project Engineer Cum Drafter to join our dynamic team. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our construction projects, utilizing your technical expertise and project management skills.

What you'll be doing

  1. Providing engineering support and project management for construction projects
  2. Preparing detailed design drawings and technical specifications
  3. Coordinating with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met
  4. Monitoring project progress, identifying and addressing potential issues
  5. Ensuring compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  6. Collaborating with the project team to optimize processes and improve efficiency
  7. Maintaining accurate records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
  2. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry
  3. Proficiency in using AUTOCAD software; REVIT is an advantage
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  6. Attention to detail and a dedication to quality
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  8. Knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and safety standards
