Job Summary:

We are seeking a Project Engineer Mechanical with extensive experience in executing mechanical works related to hotel projects , especially focused on guest rooms and corridor areas . The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing mechanical installations including HVAC, plumbing, and fire fighting systems to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all mechanical works related to guest rooms and corridors in line with hotel project standards.
• Coordinate with design, architectural, and electrical teams to ensure seamless MEP integration.
• Review and implement mechanical drawings (HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, etc.).
• Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Monitor site activities, ensuring work is carried out as per specifications, standards, and safety protocols.
• Liaise with vendors, contractors, and consultants to ensure timely delivery of work.
• Conduct quality checks and prepare inspection reports.
• Ensure project timelines and budget compliance.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and daily progress reports.

Requirements:

• Bachelor s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in mechanical execution of hospitality/hotel projects .
• In-depth knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting systems .
• Proven experience managing guest room and corridor mechanical works .
• Strong understanding of industry codes and hotel MEP standards.
• Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site teams and handle multiple contractors/vendors.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other construction tools is a plus.

Preferred Candidates:

• Immediate to 20 days joining availability.
• Previous experience working on 5-star hotel or luxury hospitality projects in metro cities.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Chennai.
