Job Summary

SSI Water Srl, part of Ingersoll Rand group, is the European Branch of SSI Aeration Inc, world leader in Aeration system technology for Waste Water treatment application and provides highly customized and engineered packages and solutions for the municipal and industrial applications. We are looking for a Project Engineer in our Viale Certosa, Milan (MI) site with the following main responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Production of the engineering deliverables under his/her responsibility under the supervision of the PM.
  • Implementation of ERP.
  • Preparation of technical requisition, bid technical evaluation and vendor follow-up of the items under his/her responsibility.
  • Review and implementation of client’s comments to get approval of documentation.
  • Cooperation with the project team and other company stakeholders to grant fulfilment of the contractual requirements and resolution of technical issues.
  • Participation to project meetings/calls with client including.
  • Travel and visit to main supplier and site visits

    • Basic Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in environmental or mechanical engineering.
  • Microsfot teams and Autocad.
  • Fluent in English and Italian

    • Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements

    Approx. 90% of office and smart working, 10% travel.

    Key Competencies

  • Good engineering fundamentals on process and/or mechanical aspects (piping, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, valves)
  • Ability to interface with other departments Procurement, Project Management, Quality as well as customers and vendors.
  • 2+ years of experience as Project Engineer in the manufacturing industry (process packages suppliers), Mechanical/Machinery engineer in engineering companies or EPC contractors.
