Job Title: Project EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer for our Arizona operations. This full-time, in-office position will involve collaborating with the Project Management team to ensure the successful execution of assigned projects.
Responsibilities

+ Determine clients' requirements and translate them into actionable plans.

+ Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned projects.

+ Review and submit materials and equipment as required by the client's engineer.

+ Create RFIs based on plan and specification analysis along with field input.

+ Ensure health, safety, and legal requirements are met throughout assigned projects.

+ Collaborate effectively with project managers, construction managers, and craft personnel to ensure project requirements are met.

+ Ensure all milestones and deadlines are met on a project level.

+ Conduct regular meetings to ensure that safety, quality, schedule, and budget goals are met.

+ Conduct safety audits regularly to ensure compliance with company safety objectives.

Essential Skills

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or a related field.

+ At least 2 years of relevant work experience.

+ Experience working with multiple discipline projects encompassing civil, electrical, and building construction.

+ Civil construction experience, particularly with water and highway projects.

+ Strong commitment to providing a safe work environment and the ability to stop unsafe acts.

+ Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

+ Ability to think big picture and understand long-term implications of actions.

+ Dedication to exceeding customer expectations and finding solutions for project challenges.

+ Proficiency in reading and understanding project plans and specifications.

+ Capability to perform detailed quantity take-offs for change orders, estimates, and material orders.

+ Ability to create and update CPM project schedules in Microsoft Project.

+ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with substation construction is desirable, but training will be provided if necessary.

Work Environment
This position requires flexibility with work hours and involves a mix of office and field duties in Phoenix, typically 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday. The role offers growth opportunities, annual raises based on performance, and bonuses tied to company budget goals. A company vehicle will be provided. The work environment encourages safety and innovation, with time divided equally between field and office responsibilities.

This is a Permanent position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Phoenix,AZ.
