Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. You will play a key role in managing and executing significant capital projects at our second-largest facility globally. This position involves overseeing project processes, ensuring timelines and budgets are adhered to, and coordinating with contractors for successful project completion.
Responsibilities
+ Oversee the execution of capital projects, focusing on design, installation, and refurbishment of equipment and utilities.
+ Manage project timelines, budgets, and design modifications, interfacing effectively with contractors.
+ Work closely with design teams on layout and conceptualization.
+ Coordinate and supervise the installation of piping and electrical systems supporting primary product lines.
+ Ensure compliance with permits, environmental, health, safety, and quality policies.
+ Provide engineering support for analysis, design, purchase, modification, installation, and start-up of production and facility equipment and systems.
Essential Skills
+ Strong communication and negotiation skills, both internally and externally.
+ Ability to manage contractors and supervise processes effectively.
+ Experience in commissioning and qualification processes (IQ, OQ, PQ).
+ Experience managing projects with budgets ranging from $2-5M.
+ Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3-10 years of experience in high-speed packaging equipment or chemical batch processing operations in consumer products.
+ Working knowledge of CAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
+ Excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple project assignments concurrently.
+ Proficiency in project management skills including planning, scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, design and layout, and contractor supervision.
+ Good communication and presentation skills.
+ Ability to work effectively in a team environment and a commitment to continuous learning.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $55.00/hr.
