Project Engineer & Senior Project Engineer - Options FIFO and DIDO

Civil Construction Company seeking a Senior Project Engineer and Project Engineer to become a key part in shaping the future of our business alongside an experienced team.

You will be based on our regional projects and employed on a permanent basis.

Options FIFO and DIDO - 5/2 and 10/4 rosters.

Brisbane Head Office but away work only - FNQ, NSW, etc.

About the role:

• Ensuring that the project works are completed safely and in compliance with Company and our client's procedures, engineering drawings/specifications, budgets and timeframes.
• Actively maintain, reconcile and report on any project costings and forecast management to ensure the project is meeting its financial requirements.
• Prepare, monitor and update plans and working to weekly and monthly programs.
• Provide engineering and technical advice to the project team.
• Assist with procurement of key subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensuring quality requirements are being met.
• Programming and planning of the works.
• Preparing monthly financial reports including cost to complete forecasts.
• Identify and work with the site team to mitigate any risks to project delivery.
• Coordinate relevant subcontractor progress payment claims and communicate any variations or issues and provide resolutions.
• Coordinate approvals for any subcontract variations including notification of any delays or extension of time required.
• Working alongside Supervisors to ensure best project delivery practices.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Civil Engineering Degree or similar.
• 6+ years' experience as an engineer on civil infrastructure projects - Project Engineer.
• 8+ years' experience as an engineer on civil infrastructure projects - Senior Project Engineer.
• Ability to read and understand civil, structural and services drawings.
• Manage and raise technical queries.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and sequencing.
• Manage budgets for subcontractors/suppliers.
• Understanding of Quality Control Systems.
• Excellent safety record from previous projects.
