Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, commission, and support servo drive systems—predominantly Rockwell Automation (Kinetix series preferred), but exposure to other platforms (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi) is a plus.
  • Lead or support retrofit and upgrade projects involving mechatronics subsystems.
  • Conduct on-site diagnostics and implement solutions for performance tuning, alarms, and unexpected breakdowns.
  • Collaborate with design, PLC, and SCADA teams to ensure system integration.
  • Serve as a technical SME for customers and internal teams; create documentation and conduct training when needed.


Authority

  • The Service Engineer has the authority to perform the above-mentioned duties and responsibilities as delegated by the Execution Team Head, Project Manager, or any senior executive from the Execution Team.
  • In addition to these delegated authorities, the Servo Engineer is encouraged to take initiative, propose innovative solutions, and drive improvements within the scope of their projects, demonstrating leadership and a forward-thinking approach.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • 3–8 years of hands-on experience in servo/motion control systems.
  • Strong expertise in Rockwell Automation – Kinetix servo drives, Studio 5000, RSLogix.
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations across India (travel up to 40–60%).
  • Proactive mindset, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of upgrade planning, BOM validation, and field commissioning


Preferred Skills

  • Experience working in Tyre, Packaging, Robotics, or Automotive manufacturing environments.
  • Exposure to safety PLCs, encoder feedback systems, and load tuning.
  • Understanding of control panel design and wiring for motion systems.
