Job Description Job Description Responsibilities Receive new projects from Sales and first produce a comparative take off study versus the estimate of summary of the materials to be used and the technical time allotted. Communicate with Project Manager of results and with appropriate questions Review all contract documents, sales documents and building codes so as to correctly/efficiently proceed with the design. Assist the Field Coordinator to develop method statements to ensure field structural requirements are incorporated in the design. Compose RFI’s as needed to obtain necessary information not already shown in the Contract Documents. Develop structural schemes and cladding details according to the contractual obligations, architectural intent, budget and time schedules. Suggest value engineered ideas to Project Manager to establish if team can reduce costs. Utilize standard system products wherever appropriate.
