Project Engineer

To provide:

• An interface between the project and manufacturing teams, ensuring any issues that arise during manufacturing are dealt with swiftly and effectively.
• Facilitation of New Product Introduction for projects in the DDQ phase by helping to plan and execute Test & Integration activities from CDR through PRR and into production. Champion the new design into PRR, working with production engineer(s) to ensure an effective handover into the manufacturing team.
• Proposal and design of special-to-type test equipment and automated test equipment as required to ensure production costs and schedules are met whilst quality & reliability are maintained.
• Specifications and sourcing for all equipment and facilities needed to ensure smooth ongoing production, acting as the “go-between” for Stores/Production/Test/Engineering, to assist the PM to keep the production line running smoothly.
