Project Engineer – Water Treatment Projects

Role Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to manage and support the execution of water treatment projects. The role involves coordinating engineering activities, monitoring project timelines, liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered as per technical specifications, safety norms, and quality standards.
The ideal candidate should be capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, execute, and monitor water treatment projects from initiation to completion
Coordinate with design, procurement, site, and commissioning teams
Prepare and track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
Provide technical support related to water treatment systems and plant engineering
Ensure adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and project scope
Liaise with clients, vendors, consultants, and contractors for smooth execution
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Identify project risks and support timely resolution of technical or execution issues
Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Environmental / Chemical or related discipline)
Strong knowledge of Project Engineering, Project Planning, and Project Management
Understanding of Electrical Engineering concepts and coordination with electrical systems is preferred
Experience in water / wastewater treatment projects (ETP / STP / WTP / RO / ZLD / Industrial Utilities) is an advantage
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
Familiarity with industry standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements
Relevant project-based experience is required
