Position Overview We are seeking a Project / Field Engineer to support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a first step or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on field experience and build a long-term career in construction.

Key Responsibilities



  • Support daily field operations and project coordination


  • Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals


  • Assist with scheduling updates, documentation, and change tracking


  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams


  • Participate in site walks, inspections, and quality control efforts


  • Help enforce safety standards and maintain jobsite compliance


  • Maintain accurate project documentation using construction software


  • Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and as-built documentation


Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field


  • Internship, co-op, or field experience preferred but not required


  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents


  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills


  • Comfortable working in a field-based environment


  • Experience or willingness to learn tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Office


Preferred (Not Required)



  • Commercial construction experience


  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification


  • EIT certification or intent to pursue licensure
