Position Overview We are seeking a Project / Field Engineer to support commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is ideal for a first step or early-career professional looking to gain hands-on field experience and build a long-term career in construction.
Key Responsibilities
Support daily field operations and project coordination
Review construction drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals
Assist with scheduling updates, documentation, and change tracking
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal project teams
Participate in site walks, inspections, and quality control efforts
Help enforce safety standards and maintain jobsite compliance
Maintain accurate project documentation using construction software
Assist with project closeout, punch lists, and as-built documentation
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
Internship, co-op, or field experience preferred but not required
Ability to read and interpret construction documents
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Comfortable working in a field-based environment
Experience or willingness to learn tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Office
Preferred (Not Required)
Commercial construction experience
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
EIT certification or intent to pursue licensure
