About the Role
We are looking for a seasoned Project Head – External MEP & Infrastructure to lead External MEP Services & Development execution for large project/ projects.
This role is accountable for the end-to-end planning, execution, and coordination of External MEP & Infrastructure works across assigned projects. It calls for deep technical expertise in MEP execution, a strong grasp of constructability and statutory requirements, and the ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary teams with clarity and authority.
As the single-point owner, you will drive disciplined execution, ensure alignment with approved designs and specifications, and maintain strong control on quality, safety, timelines, and costs. Working closely with project leadership, central teams, partners, and statutory authorities, you will enable smooth integration of External MEP Services with overall project delivery.
We are looking for a mature, credible people leader who brings ownership, sound judgment, and execution excellence — someone who can anticipate challenges, resolve issues decisively, and deliver consistently on large, high-stakes projects.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide single-point leadership for execution of all External MEP & Infrastructure works across assigned projects.
- Ensure delivery in line with approved GFC drawings, specifications, BOQs, and statutory requirements.
- Lead constructability-focused GFC reviews, proactively identifying and resolving design gaps, clashes, and execution risks.
- Drive execution planning, sequencing, and coordination aligned with overall project milestones.
- Own cost management for External MEP & Infrastructure packages, ensuring accuracy in measurements, billing, certifications, and commercial closure.
- Lead statutory readiness and approvals including Fire NOC, utility connections, and Occupancy Certificate requirements.
- Champion a zero-compromise approach to quality, safety, and compliance through visible on-site leadership.
- Build and lead high-performing, multi-disciplinary External MEP teams, strengthening site leadership depth and second-line capability.
- Lead engagement with contractors, consultants, vendors, and statutory authorities with clarity, accountability, and professionalism.
What We’re Looking For
- 15–22 years of experience in External MEP & Infrastructure execution for large real estate developments.
- B. E./B. Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputed institution.
- End-to-end exposure across design coordination, contracting, execution, commissioning, statutory approvals, and handover.
- Strong technical grounding across external electrical systems, PHE, fire protection, utilities, and infrastructure services.
- Solid commercial understanding across BOQs, billing, certifications, and cost control.
- Clear, confident communicator with the ability to align multiple stakeholders and teams.
- A mature leadership presence marked by ownership, decisiveness, and collaboration in complex project environments.
