Founded by the Harry Perkins Institute, Linear Clinical Research is at the forefront of human breakthroughs, contributing to scientific discovery and advancement through world-leading clinical trials and medical research. Our Early Phase Clinical Trial Centre based in Joondalup is now seeking a passionate and experienced Project Lead to join the team to cover a period of parental leave for 12 months. Successful delivery of multiple clinical trial projects, ensuring compliance with ICH/GCP guidelines, SOPs, and best practice standards.

Your Role in Our Future

As our Project Lead you will be responsible for providing strong leadership across the project team to ensure the successful planning, execution, and delivery of a wide range of clinical trials. Serving as the primary point of contact for clinical trial sponsors you will also lead proactive and effective stakeholder engagement to align expectations, manage risks, and drive informed decision-making to ensure projects are delivered to scope, quality, and timeline, while meeting key milestones and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinating project teams to meet milestones and deliverables.
  • Identifying and escalating breaches of ICH/GCP guidelines and SOPs.
  • Supporting ethics submissions and research agreements.
  • Overseeing monitoring visits and responding to queries.
  • Maintaining oversight of project costs and ensuring budget adherence.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders including sponsors, monitors, and investigators.
  • Leading and supporting direct reports through coaching, mentoring, and performance management.

This role will be based in Joondalup and will be offered on a full-time basis for 12 months in the first instance.

Your Experience

You will be an individual who takes initiative whilst handling competing priorities. The key to your success will be a tertiary qualification in a related field (Science or Business) and a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a clinical trial environment.

Additional qualifications:

  • Proven ability to resolve project-related problems and prioritise workload.
  • Project planning, coordination, evaluation, and management skills.
  • A high level of attention to detail with ability to work within guidelines and procedures.
  • Excellent organisational skills, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Previous experience in the clinical trial, medical or research sector.
  • Leadership experience or the ability to lead and support a team.
