Job Title: Project Lead 

Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery Project Lead with a strong background in database administration, specifically with expertise in Redshift, Snowflake, or Teradata data warehouse databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing delivery projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project lifecycle are executed efficiently and effectively. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a deep understanding of database technologies.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage delivery projects, ensuring timely and successful completion of project milestones.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of data warehouse solutions using Redshift, Snowflake, or Teradata.

  • Ensure adherence to best practices in database management and data governance.

  • Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with project delivery.

  • Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.

  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members in database administration and project management.

  • Manage client relationships and expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

    • Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven expertise in database administration with a focus on Redshift, Snowflake, or Teradata.

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.

  • Experience in project management methodologies and tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in MySQL as an applications DBA is a deal breaker for this role.

    • Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and architectures.

  • Experience with data migration and integration processes.

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.

  • Certifications in relevant database technologies or project management.

    • Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Relevant certifications in database management or project management are a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and manage multiple priorities.
