Project Lead – Factory Setup (MEP)

Location
Jaipur / Project sites (full-time on-site role)
Role Objective
To execute and deliver MEP infrastructure for new factory setups and
expansions, ensuring utilities, safety systems, and services are installed,
commissioned, and ready for production within committed timelines and budgets.
Key Responsibilities
MEP Execution (Primary Focus)
Execute Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing works at site as per approved
drawings and layouts.
Supervise installation of power distribution, lighting, HVAC/ventilation,
compressed air, water supply, drainage, and fire safety systems.
Ensure utilities are sized and installed to support production requirements.
Site Coordination & Supervision
Coordinate daily with civil contractors, equipment vendors, and internal teams.
Ensure readiness of utility points for machinery installation and
commissioning.
Handle day-to-day site issues, sequencing, and execution challenges.
Project Tracking & Controls
Track progress against timelines and highlight slippages early.
Control material usage and contractor productivity at site.
Support preparation of daily/weekly progress reports and site MIS.
Safety, Quality & Compliance
Ensure adherence to electrical safety, fire safety, and site safety norms.
Conduct inspections and testing before commissioning.
Support statutory inspections and closure of observations.
Commissioning & Handover
Support testing, commissioning, and trial runs of all MEP systems.
Ensure proper documentation, drawings, and handover to operations.
Address initial breakdowns and stabilization issues post go-live.
What This Role Is NOT
Not a desk-based planning role
Not a pure design or consultant coordination role
This is a field-first, execution-heavy site role
Key Skills & Competencies
Strong hands-on site execution experience in industrial MEP projects
Ability to manage contractors and multiple activities in parallel
Practical understanding of factory utilities and safety systems
High ownership, urgency, and problem-solving mindset
Qualification & Experience
Diploma / BE in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
5–8 years of experience in factory, warehouse, or industrial MEP execution
Manufacturing or process industry exposure preferred
