Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead Technical Illustrator with strong expertise in technical illustration, CAD interpretation, and team management. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PTC IsoDraw and PLM tools, along with the ability to lead and mentor a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Create high-quality technical illustrations using PTC IsoDraw CADProcess 7.3
• Analyze engineering drawings, CAD models, change notes, and other technical documents
• Work with PTC Windchill PLM for data management and illustration updates
• Handle 2D and 3D illustrations, and convert vector images to clean vector line artworks
• Interpret engineering drawings to trace/draw mechanical components and assemblies
• Lead and mentor a team of at least 3 illustrators
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all deliverables
• Manage multiple tasks and meet project timelines
• Coordinate effectively with internal teams and clients
• Work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong proficiency in PTC IsoDraw CADProcess 7.3
• Solid understanding of engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documentation
• Hands-on experience with PTC Windchill PLM
• Expertise in creating 2D and 3D illustrations and vector artwork
• Strong drawing interpretation and visualization skills
• Team leadership experience (minimum 3 team members)
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and deliver within deadlines
