**Job title:**

The Innovation Project Manager is responsible for executing multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and resource constraints, potentially overseeing projects, resolving issues creatively and selecting appropriate methods for solutions, fostering effective team collaboration, delegating tasks, leveraging strengths, and ensuring clear communication, working under limited supervision. The role demonstrates customer centricity by understanding customer needs, incorporating feedback, and ensuring solutions meet requirements, builds strong relationships with stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring alignment on objectives. The role delivers business impact through innovative solutions supporting organizational goals, while continuous improvement is ensured by seeking skill enhancement opportunities, and sharing knowledge.

**Your role:**

+ Leading technical projects in electrical, mechanical and mechatronics domains

+ Driving and delivering Innovation, Development, Productivity, Maintenance projects

+ Leading and coordinating a multifunctional core team of R&D, sourcing, quality, service, product industrialization, production leaders

+ Using state of the art Program Management tools and processes to drive execution of projects/programs

+ Defining the project/program scope, content, staffing, planning and cost with key stakeholders

+ Coordinate and guide the Development Engineers in the design and implementation aspects

+ Connect and align with the Lead Designer/Senior Architect on technical, quality and costs aspects

+ Collaborate with LCM, NPIs and Product Management stakeholders to prioritize, scope and plan activities

+ Connects and aligns with the Program Manager on project content, timeline and costs aspects

+ Lead the configuration management activities on Windchill PDM/PLM, for managing lifecycle of the components, managing ECO/ECR, creating EBOM etc.

+ Work with cross-functional team in effective introduction and implementation of design changes in product manufacturing.

+ Interface with Design Change Review Board, Engineering/Manufacturing Change Control Board etc.

+ Perform the effective where-used analysis for the affected parts

+ Review of part numbers, maintaining structure with documents and it’s master data

+ Ensure that the defined standards are adhered to while executing the specification in the configuration management systems

+ Contribute to handshakes from R&D to factory

+ Draws up personal schedule and reports on progress

+ Define and assess the Work Breakdown Structure/planning/ costs of his/her area

+ Delivering per commitments on scope, quality, time and cost.

+ Communicating and managing the internal and external stakeholders

+ Interacting with the global R&D Teams

**You're the right fit if:** (4 x bullets max)

+ Completed engineering studies at University level; BE/BTech/ME/M-Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent

+ 12+ years in engineering, initially as engineer and later as technical project leader

+ Experience in Medical Device development and knowledge of IEC 60601 standards will be an added advantage

+ Knowledge of Global Medical Quality and Regulatory Standards e.g. IEC, FDA, UL, CE, CSA etc. will be an added advantage

+ Strong experience and background in configuration management processes and activities related to product data management and configuration control.

+ Hands on experience in Windchill PDM/PLM for managing lifecycle of the components, managing ECO/ECR, creating EBOM etc.

+ Experience in effective introduction and implementation of design changes in product manufacturing.

+ Experience in performing the role of Engineering Change Administrator and Business Organization Admin (BOA) will be an added advantage

+ Experience in interfacing with Design Change Review Board, Engineering and Manufacturing Change Control Board etc.

+ Disciplined team worker, ability to work independently

+ Able to guide and mentor young engineers in the team

+ Result oriented team player

+ Ability to present and articulate ideas to key stakeholders and leadership team

+ Excellent communication and influencing skills

+ Open mindset and positive ‘can do’ attitude

**How we work together**

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.

Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
