Role Overview
Tonbo Imaging seeks a Project Manager to lead system integration programs for vehicle-
mounted radars, HMI consoles, and shelterised command-and-control platforms.
Candidates must have direct experience integrating shelter-based C2 systems for
radars, missile launchers, or equivalent defence systems. The role involves
coordinating multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver mission-ready platforms for
defence and homeland security.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end integration of radar systems, shelterised C2 units, and trailer-based
subsystems.
• Drive project planning, scheduling, execution, and delivery across mechanical,
electrical, software, and systems disciplines.
• Coordinate with defence customers, vehicle OEMs, and internal teams for
configuration, testing, and validation.
• Oversee mechanical mounting, power/data interconnects, embedded computing
integration, and compliance testing.
• Lead FAT/SAT, EMI/EMC qualification, mobility trials, and user trials.
• Maintain program documentation, risk registers, design review records, and
configuration control.
• Coordinate vendors for fabrication, harnesses, mounting systems, power units, and
shelters.
• Ensure adherence to MIL-STD, JSS, EMI/EMC, environmental, and DAP-2020
requirements.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Systems Engineering; Master’s
preferred.
• 8–15 years’ experience in system integration for military vehicles, shelters, or mobile
platforms.
• Mandatory: Proven experience integrating shelter-based command-and-control
systems for radars, missile launchers, or equivalent defence platforms.
• Strong understanding of radar/EO sensors, communication networks, power
distribution, and mechanical/electrical integration.
• Experience with high-voltage systems and associated safety protocols.
• Familiarity with defence procurement, trials, QA/QC, and documentation.
• Strong leadership, vendor management, and communication skills.
Desirable Skills
• Experience with radar shelters, missile C2 units, command vehicles, or trailerised
mission systems.
• Knowledge of ruggedised computing, autonomous subsystems, and HMI design.
• Ability to interpret CAD layouts, wiring diagrams, and integration drawings.
• Understanding of DGQA/DGAQA processes, industrial licensing, and site acceptance.
• Experience planning infrastructure for radar/missile development shelters or test
platforms.
