Overview

The Oncology, Renal and Ambulatory Care portfolio at Michael Garron Hospital (MGH) is an outpatient portfolio looking to develop a strategy for ambulatory care over the next 2-3 years. This team’s leadership, in addition to Clinical Operational leaders and close collaboration with Medical Leaders, will include a new Project Manager, Ambulatory Care who will collaborate with leaders across the hospital to develop the Ambulatory Care Strategy.

Goals For The First Year

• Current state assessment of all medical, surgical, oncology, hematology and renal clinics to understand patient population, referral criteria and processes, clinical workflows, patient experience, and quality and safety.
• External scan of other organization’s hospital-based clinic strategies, policies and procedures.
