Responsibilities
Develop scopes of work and prepare proposals for construction materials testing projects and with guidance on geotechnical engineering projects.Prepare construction materials testing reports providing professional opinions and practical solutions, along with other professional documents, under the review of a professional engineerManage routine to complex materials testing projects and with guidance, geotechnical engineering projects, including project scope, schedule, budget, and safety.Work independently on specific assignments with senior review.Perform quality review of work performed by assigned staff; identify, investigate, and resolve internal and external quality issues on projects.Work with local leader and other regional operations to effectively coordinate field staff, share resources, and manage workloads.Work with local leader, other engineers and project managers, and field staff to ensure specifications are followed.Work closely with Senior Manager and Senior Engineers to ensure client expectations are met or exceeded.Assist Senior Manager and other leadership in developing business goals and objectives.Support client relationships to effectively achieve market sector goals and strategies.As needed, perform various field testing and observations.As needed, assist field operations with technician training and review.Required Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Possess strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.Strong organization and customer service skills.Ability to exceed client expectations while thriving in a time critical / dynamic work environment.Ability to work both independently and as a team member.Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint.Ability to create, maintain, and communicate project budgets.Required Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering required.Five or more years of construction materials testing, or geotechnical engineering experience required, or master’s degree plus 4 years.Previous experience with large scale construction projectsExperience working in a consulting firm required.Must have a valid driver's license.Ability to travel to other Texas offices on an as-needed basis.#LI-MJ1

Compensation Range:
$73,000.00 - $109,000.00
