Project Manager- Construction Services | Day

Overview Full Time Position Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Provides on-site project construction administration and is responsible for the management of facility construction projects. Supervises construction for UF Health, inspectors, and contracted construction firms. Coordinates the communication between the UF Health Jacksonville user groups; design firms, contractors, and Administration. Reviews all contract documents and ensures all appropriate Shands Jacksonville procedures are followed. Qualifications Required Education: High School Diploma or GED Preferred Education: Degree in Construction or Engineering Required Experience: 3-5 years facility management experience Preferred Experience: Construction management within a healthcare setting, demonstrable experience working in a successful team environment; strong oral and written communication and fiscal management skills Necessary Skills: 1. Demonstrate leadership skills through good personnel management, goal setting involving individuals and the department, effective delegation, and demonstration of strong interpersonal skills and budget management. 2. Possess a positive attitude 3. In-depth knowledge of all phases of construction projects and the ability to develop and work with project schedules and charts. 4. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships and have the ability to perform calmly under stressful conditions. 5. Must be willing to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays and be responsive to after hour pages.
