Reporting into the GM Major Projects - East, the Project Manager - Data Centres, will be responsible for securing new opportunities, managing tendering and client relationships, and overseeing safe, compliant, and profitable project execution, expanding RSGx’s data centre portfolio across Australia.

This role requires a senior‑level project leader with proven data centre construction delivery experience, deep technical knowledge of critical infrastructure environments, and an established client network across hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and data centre consultants.

The role will manage end‑to‑end project performance, including commercial, financial, QHSE, client engagement, project execution, and leadership of project teams, and ensure delivery of mission‑critical infrastructure, power, cooling, ICT, security, and fire systems, safely, on time, within budget, and to required technical standards. This is a strategic growth role focused on both business development and project delivery.

About You

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring extensive experience and proven capability in leading complex construction projects. A strong technical foundation, combined with leadership and communication skills, will be critical to success.

• 8‑10 years’ experience in construction leadership roles
• 5+ years’ experience delivering complex building services or mission‑critical infrastructure (preferably data centres).
• Demonstrated experience managing construction and commissioning of major MEP systems.
• Deep understanding of construction methodologies, staging, and sequencing.
• Track record in managing multi‑disciplinary site teams and subcontractors.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic project conditions.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Additionally, you bring outstanding communication skills, authority to represent RSGx at senior client level, and the initiative to solve problems under pressure while meeting deadlines. With strong leadership, commercial acumen, and strategic thinking, you stay adaptable in dynamic conditions and committed to continuous improvement.
