Project Manager (Data Engineering & Analytics)

Workfall is seeking an experienced and highly driven Project Manager to lead and deliver complex projects in Data Engineering & Analytics with precision, accountability, and strong stakeholder engagement. This role requires a professional with excellent communication skills, hands-on project execution capability, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. The position is work-from-office in Bangalore and aligned with evening IST working hours to collaborate with global stakeholders.

Location: Bangalore (Work From Office)

Working Hours: 2:00 PM IST – 11:00 PM IST

Experience Required: 7+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, tracking, risk management, and closure.
• Define project scope, goals, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in alignment with business objectives.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Design, QA, HR, Sales) to ensure seamless execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear, timely, and professional communication.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, status reports, and documentation.
• Identify project risks and dependencies early and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within agreed budgets.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices in project management.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives where applicable.
• Ensure high standards of quality, accountability, and compliance across all project activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in a technology-driven or fast-growing organization.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management capability.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana, Trello, MS Project).
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.
• High level of ownership, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certification.
• Prior experience working with global clients or distributed teams.
• Background in HR Tech, SaaS, or product-led organizations is a plus.
